Join Barclays as a Senior E-Trading Developer, where you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing high-performance software solutions using a range of modern engineering methodologies. This position supports the ongoing build-out of RatesOne electronic swaps and Sales-to-Trader workflow platforms, with a strong focus on maintaining delivery momentum and expanding UI capability. You will contribute to delivering robust technology solutions that enable critical business functions for both clients and internal stakeholders, working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Strong Java experience, including Spring Boot
* Experience with multithreaded programming
* Solid business knowledge and domain experience

* Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
* Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
* Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
* Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
