Quality Manager Location: Manchester M24 or Leicester LE19 (Hybrid) Salary: £50k per annum CYFOR is a leading national provider of Digital Forensics, eDiscovery and Cyber Security services, working with law enforcement, law firms and corporate clients across the UK. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to lead our Quality function and maintain key accreditations across our technical service lines, including ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and the FSR Code of Practice. This is a critical leadership role within the business, with responsibility for the strategic development, implementation and maintenance of CYFOR’s Quality and Information Security Management Systems, supporting operational excellence and regulatory compliance. The Role As our Quality Manager, you will work collaboratively with senior management, technical teams and auditors to ensure our systems, processes and procedures remain best-in-class. You will oversee a dedicated Quality Officer and liaise with Technical Quality Leads to drive continuous improvement, manage internal and external audits, and provide assurance across all regulated activity. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and maintenance of CYFOR’s Quality and Information Security Management Systems. Manage compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001 and FSR Code of Practice. Act as lead contact for UKAS and other external audit bodies, including audit readiness and corrective actions. Oversee internal audit programmes, CAPA, document control, risk assessment, and incident investigation. Provide quality and compliance guidance to commercial, technical and operational teams. Develop and deliver training in quality, auditing, information security and health and safety. Prepare and present board-level reports on quality metrics and compliance performance. Mentor and manage the Quality Officer, providing clear objectives and developmental support. Produce and maintain quality KPIs and statistical performance reports. Collaborate with the Technical Manager on peer review, validation and competency frameworks for forensic casework. Lead continual improvement programmes by identifying systemic issues and implementing structured resolutions. Maintain the quality and information security risk registers and support business continuity planning. Respond to client and regulatory quality related enquiries, non-conformances and escalations. Stay up to date with changes to relevant standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring internal policies remain compliant. Support the operation and development of LIMS/QMS platforms to improve traceability, audit readiness and data integrity. Coordinate training needs analysis and maintain CPD and competency tracking across regulated roles. Support change management by embedding quality assurance into new processes, technologies, and organisational initiatives. About You We are looking for a committed and detail-focused professional with proven experience in regulated environments: Demonstrable experience managing ISO 17025 accreditation (any sector). Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 (desirable but not essential). Minimum 5 years in a regulated quality setting, including 2 years in a Quality Assurance or Quality Manager role. Previous exposure to forensic or technical environments (advantageous). High-level communication, report writing and interpersonal skills. A proactive, methodical and solutions focused mindset. Strong organisational and analytical skills with an eye for detail. Security Clearance This position requires the successful applicant to attain NPPV3 and SC (Security Clearance) vetting levels. To be eligible, you must be a British national and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years continuously (exceptions apply for official overseas service or study abroad).
