About the role
As the machining quality leader, you will guide and develop a team of three quality engineers while partnering with internal and international stakeholders. Whether leading customer audits or supporting new product launches, you will ensure our quality standards excel and support our continuous growth journey.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing and developing a team of quality engineers within the machining division.
* Supporting customer audits, quality documentation (PPAP, 8D), and project conformance.
* Driving scrap and rework reduction through data‑led problem solving.
* Leading internal audits and ensuring timely corrective actions.
* Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve product and process quality.
* Supporting the transition to IA9110 aerospace certification.
* Representing machining quality in senior leadership meetings and customer interactions.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll bring a strong background in quality management, with the ability to influence, coach, and deliver results in a technical environment.
Essential skills and experience:
* Proven experience managing quality in machining or manufacturing environments.
* IATF16949 certification and working knowledge of APQP/PPAP.
* Strong understanding of dimensional mathematics and metrology data.
* Confident communicator with experience engaging customers and senior stakeholders.
* Knowledge of castings and foundry processes (preferred).
* Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, and IA9110 standards preferred.
* Ability to travel to site.
