Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and retention.
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the company's strategic goals.
* Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
* Oversee training and development programs to support employee growth and organisational capability.
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law, GDPR, and company policies.
* Utilise HR software and technical tools (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems, performance management tools) to optimise HR operations.
* Analyse HR data and metrics to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
* Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
* Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff on HR-related issues.
Requirements
* Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on strategic planning and talent management.
* Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA regulations.
* Demonstrated ability in negotiation, conflict management, and employee evaluation processes.
* Experience in supervising teams within an HR context is preferred.
* Proficiency in HR sourcing techniques and familiarity with ATS systems such as Taleo or UltiPro.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to various stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills with a focus on data collection and analysis for informed decision-making.
* Familiarity with budgeting processes related to human capital management is advantageous.
