We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Proactive Sales Executive to support the growth and development of our trade customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, identifying opportunities through data-driven insights, and implementing effective contact strategies to strengthen customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement tailored sales strategies that address the needs of smaller turnover customers, focusing on maximizing the placement of pattern books in the marketplace to engage trade customers who may not have regular visits from our sales team.
2. Contact customers to review performance, understand current projects, offer sampling, and promote existing and new collections.
3. Understand customer needs to maximize sales opportunities.
4. Secure future business through appropriate service and support.
5. Develop and deliver a customer contact strategy utilizing all contact tools.
6. Provide world-class customer service to maximize sales opportunities.
7. Input customer feedback into CRM and work closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure order accuracy.
8. Follow up on calls and emails, analyze performance, and provide data insights to inform further calls.
9. Submit regular, accurate reports and monitor sales performance with management.
10. Complete all administration related to the role.
11. Achieve personal sales targets as part of the sales team.
12. Employ effective sales techniques to promote, upsell, and cross-sell products, building stronger business relationships.

1. Achieving sales budgets and year-on-year growth.
2. Working within expenditure budgets.
3. Number of calls and emails per day.
4. Sales success according to budgeted plans.

Skills & Experience:
* Proven sales experience, preferably in call centers or mail order catalogues.
* Strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
* Experience with product knowledge and building long-term relationships.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, positive attitude.
* Proficiency with CRM and WG360 systems.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
