My client, a small privately owned developer, is looking to appoint a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager for a scheme based in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. A project consisting of 65 traditional build units.
Responsibilities
* Reporting directly to the CD; supporting the day‑to‑day running of the scheme.
* Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets.
* Working towards looking after more schemes for the business.
* Managing the day‑to‑day operation from piling – foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant, including material lead times.
* Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme.
* Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates.
* Controlling additional costs for non‑productive costs and prelim expenditure.
* Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process.
* Ensuring the development passes internal and external inspection processes.
* Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to.
* Taking responsibility for self‑development and the development of others.
* Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approving stage completions to payment to subcontractors.
* Conducting LABC inspections.
* Ensuring customer service always remains of the highest priority with everyone on site.
* Coordinating handovers and CM‑LM structures.
Qualifications
* Experience of working on traditional build schemes.
* No1 experience of starting & finishing traditional build projects.
* Working as part of a full production team.
* First Aid and scaffold awareness.
