Ideal Candidate Background:
We are particularly interested in individuals with any of the following experience:

Youth worker, outreach mentor, or gang prevention background
*
Former prison officers, residential care workers, or support staff in secure settings
*
Experience with challenging behaviour, trauma, or SEMH
*
A calm, consistent and assertive approach to behaviour and crisis de-escalation
*
Knowledge of behaviour support techniques such as Team Teach, MAPA, or similar
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Support students aged 11–16 with significant behavioural and emotional needs
*
Deliver small-group or 1:1 support to help manage behaviour and improve engagement
*
Provide classroom support in a teaching assistant capacity
*
Act as a role model and build trusting, professional relationships with pupils
*
Work with a multi-agency team including safeguarding and pastoral staff
