Groupe Adequat are delighted to partner with 345 Interiors to find a Mobile Site Manager (Construction- minor works) to join their expanding and ambitious business. Our client is a leading build and fit-out contractor in the care sector and has several projects within the London & the south to refurbish and develop care homes. They have operated within both commercial and domestic environments to deliver bespoke solutions that enhance the working environment.
They are looking to expand, and this role of Mobile Site Manager is a new position to add to their already successful team. As the Mobile Site Manager, you will be a flexible managerial support to the various projects within a given area and have the autonomy to develop a role that further suits your skill set. You will work closely with the Owner and MD to oversee the sub-contractors and be the main liaison with the client. You must have a proven track record working within a construction environment and have a self-driven, and inquisitive nature. Previous experience running minor works projects up to the value of £500k within both domestic and commercial environments is essential, together with all the relevant certificates required.
You must have the ability to provide confident leadership, especially from a Commercial, Design, Construction, Sales and Health & Safety perspective. We are looking for someone with excellent management skills and who can drive the site team to a strict programme plan, to time and budget.
Accountabilities:
Working closely with all direct operatives and sub-contractors, ensuring that planned works are completed on time.
Managing the day-to-day work on site, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety targets.
Identify materials, workforce, tools etc needed for the project phases and arrange purchases and deliveries accordingly.
Timely support and advice in the selection of finishes that require the customers involvement so that ordering and delivery wont create disruption and delays.
Deal with sub-contractors and suppliers to solve and unblock any issue related to delays, amendment of orders and other delivery issues.
Constantly monitor the expenditure per each activity, material, labour and finishing, so to keep the budget in check.
Ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with the client and companys requirements.
Working to the programme of work and strategy for the project.
Implementing the Company Health & Safety Procedures including safety inspections of the site and ensuring regulations relating to health & safety are being met.
Assist in the running, managing and reporting of weekly meetings.
Maintain and update project reporting and planning.
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
A strong work ethic allowing you to deliver upon your deadlines.
Education & Training
Previous experience as a site manager in both commercial and domestic settings
Proven track record on minor works construction projects from start to finish.
Hold valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at work, NVQ3 minimum.
5+ years experience.
Qualified in a build trade (plumbing, carpentry, electrical) and have experience managing work in your trade
Previous UK Construction experience is essential
Excellent English language skills.
