Overview
REED HR NI is partnering with a client in Bangor to appoint a Human Resources Manager responsible for leading and managing the strategic and operational HR functions. The role is crucial in cultivating a positive people culture where HR acts as an enabler, aligning all people resource activities with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participate as an effective member of the Senior Team, engaging positively with staff to maximize resources and promote a coaching mentality across HR processes.
2. Manage HR functions to achieve the objectives of strategic and corporate plans.
3. Collaborate with management to deliver corporate strategies and business plans.
4. Handle all aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide expertise on HR issues.
5. Maintain, review, and promote HR policies and procedures, ensuring their consistent implementation.
6. Promote equality and diversity in all HR-related matters.
7. Manage HR risks, act as the ICO nominated person for Data Protection/GDPR, and lead health and safety management.
Qualifications & Skills
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
* Proven HR management experience, preferably in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of HR processes, legal compliance, and strategic thinking.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
* Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and health and safety regulations.
* Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
