We’re looking for a confident and motivated Sales Executive to join our team at Westech Solar. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting new business opportunities, and delivering excellent service. You’ll play a key role in helping our customers find the right solar solutions backed by innovative products and a supportive team.

Reports to: Sales Director

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
* Manage a pipeline of prospects and follow up consistently to close deals.
* Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
* Clearly explain the benefits of our solar products and services.
* Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
* Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
* Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the sales journey.
* Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
* Share customer insights with management to help shape future strategy.
* Stay up to date with industry developments, particularly in the renewables space.
Reporting and Admin
* Keep accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and deals using our CRM system.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and service for clients.
What We’re Looking For
Required
* Previous experience in a sales role (B2B preferred).
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confident presenting technical information in an accessible way.
* Strong negotiation and closing skills.
* Self-motivated with good time management and organisational skills.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office tools.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
* Knowledge of the UK solar market and customer base.
* Comfortable using data and sales metrics to drive performance.
