Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Engineers and Consultants work on a range of projects and Power Platform support roles for different customers, with durations ranging from a few months to longer term assignments.
Depending on the assignment and your role, you could be:
* a Power Apps component to meet a business need
* a Power Automate Flow to automate a business process
* a Power BI dashboard to provide actionable insights to a customer
* a Power Apps Portal to enable your customer to engage with their customers over the internet
* a custom code component in JavaScript to perform a complex calculation or integrate the Power Platform with an external system
* customers Power Platform tooling and provisioning, for example developing and managing governance and guardrails (Data Loss Prevention, Centre’s of Excellence)
* an existing Customer’s Power Platform environment and user base as a 3rd line Engineer.

* and install Power Apps using Application Lifecycle Management
Must-have skills/experience:
Development: The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing and creating a variety of applications using Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps. They should be proficient in building custom, user-friendly solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Customization and Extensibility: These professionals should be comfortable with writing custom code in JavaScript when necessary to extend the capabilities of the Power Platform. This involves enhancing functionalities, implementing custom business logic, and creating tailored components.
Automation and Integration: Power Platform Developers are expected to excel in using Power Automate to streamline and automate business processes. They should have a deep understanding of how to integrate the Power Platform with other applications and services using APIs to ensure data flows smoothly. This includes creating Custom Connectors to facilitate these integrations.
Platform Component Framework (PCF): A Power Platform Developer should have knowledge of how to implement and work with PCFs, allowing them to integrate and use existing custom controls within Power Apps. While creating PCFs can be more advanced, having the ability to leverage and configure them is essential.
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: As a Power Platform Developer, the ability to identify and resolve issues, bugs, and challenges within the Power Platform ecosystem is essential. They should be adept at debugging and providing effective solutions.
Collaboration: Collaborative skills are crucial as developers often work closely with Power Platform Consultants and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Effective communication is key.
Staying Updated: Power Platform is a rapidly evolving technology. A developer should stay updated with the latest features, updates, and best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem to ensure the solutions they build are current and efficient.

* C#

* SQL (particularly SSRS and SSIS)
* Dynamics or Power Platform certifications
* ITIL Methodology
Essential Criteria
Most of our clients are UK Public Sector and Defence so require Security Clearance. In order to qualify for Security Clearance, you must have lived and worked in the UK for at least the last 5 years. If you are unable to meet this criteria, we cannot progress your application.
