Agri Sales Executive - Ballymena - Permanent

We’re recruiting for an Agri Sales Executive to join a highly respected, award-winning manufacturer based in Ballymena.
About the role
* £30,000 per annum
* Monday to Friday (8.00 am – 5.00 pm)
* 40 hours per week
* Company pension scheme

* Permanent opportunity
* The role will be based in head office in Ballymena (however travel will be required)
What you\'ll be doing in this role
* Identify and develop new market opportunities across the agricultural sector.
* Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
* Manage incoming enquiries — price, process, and follow up to secure sales.
* Liaise effectively with production and logistics teams to ensure accurate despatch and delivery dates.
* Attend farm visits, customer meetings, and trade shows across the UK and Ireland (approx. two weeks per month).
* Maintain accurate CRM and sales records, ensuring enquiries are tracked and followed up.
* Contribute ideas for new products, market development, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure all sales transactions and customer discounts are handled accurately in line with company procedure.
* Support the wider sales and marketing plan through proactive communication and teamwork.
What you\'ll need for this role
* Proven sales experience, ideally within the agriculture, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* Proactive, organised, and commercially aware with the ability to work to targets.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland as required.
