An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join a growing, innovative technology company based in Cambridge.
As the Quality Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Product and play a key role in ensuring business processes and New Product Introduction (NPI) meet the stringent standards required for Automotive Quality Products. This is a hands-on role, where you will take ownership of quality from development through to mass production, supporting both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and develop quality processes across NPI and high-volume production.
* Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and internal quality expectations.
* Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including PPAP, FMEDA, and other automotive engineering deliverables.
* Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, as well as external partners, to maintain and improve quality performance.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a strong quality culture throughout the organisation.
Experience & Skills Required
* Proven experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
* Strong track record of managing quality throughout the product lifecycle, from NPI through to mass production.
* In-depth understanding of semiconductor/electronics product quality and reliability.
* Knowledge of reliability methods and industry standards.
* Hands-on experience with automotive quality tools and processes, including FMEDA and PPAP preparation.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and with external stakeholders.
