We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Senior Human Resources Officers to join our HR Operations Team.
Level 5 CIPD qualification is an essential requirement for this role. As this qualification is mandatory, we are unfortunately unable to accept or consider applications from candidates who do not currently hold it.
The roles will be aligned to a directorate within the Council and will report to a HR Business Partner. The Senior role is crucial in supporting and leading on key HR activity as directed by the HR Business Partner, further driving corporate priorities, being a point of escalation and ensuring strong organisation of the aligned services work requirements.
We are looking for a strong understanding of employment law, conditions of service and HR policies and procedures, along with the ability to plan and prioritise work, whilst being flexible to the changing demands of the service.
You must have experience working with challenging employee relations cases, whilst developing positive relationships with key stakeholders. These will include trade unions, managers, school leaders and external partners.
You will have experience and can evidence supporting in the development of HR policies and procedures and have knowledge of working on wider HR Projects across multiple work remits.
