Post: Site Manager
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week, full year, permanent (Monday to Thursday 10.00am 6.30pm/Friday 10.00am 6.00pm).
Start date: As soon as possible
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Site Manager to work in our inclusive school
The successful candidate will:
* Support the Headteacher and Business Manager in providing high standards for the children at the school.
* Have high expectations and standards in all areas.
* Be willing to operate the electronic energy management system.
* Be responsible for the security of the school premises and its contents.
* Undertake general repairs.
* Undertake adhoc and routine cleaning duties around the school.
* Comply with Health & Safety requirements and other relevant legislation.
* Carry out fire alarm checks and maintain appropriate records.
* Conduct regular checks of the school grounds.
* Be responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to and from the school, particularly in adverse weather conditions (e.g., clearing snow, gritting etc).
* Be able to work confidently in a primary school setting.
* Be approachable on a professional level.
* Be aware and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, security and confidentiality.
* Other duties as outlined in the job description.
* Be flexible with their hours to cover absences and complete projects on extra hours.
* Take holiday entitlement during the school holidays.
