I’m delighted to be supporting a design-led consumer startup entering a key stage of growth. They’re now looking for a Head of People to build and run the people function, balancing strategy with hands-on delivery.
This role will be pivotal in shaping the organisation as it scales - ensuring world-class talent joins the journey, that the culture remains inspiring, and that the business is set up for long-term success.
What you’ll do:
* Lead talent acquisition end-to-end, building a lightweight but effective recruitment engine
* Partner with leadership to design and implement people strategy that supports scaling
* Establish people systems, analytics, and processes that are practical, compliant, and culture-focused
* Coach and support managers while mentoring a growing People team
* Drive continuous improvement across HR, talent, and culture
What we’re looking for:
* Broad HR generalist background with strong exposure to scaling startups
* A blend of both strategic and operational HR experience
* Full-cycle recruitment expertise, including senior hires
* Experience building talent programs (onboarding, performance, L&D, DEI)
* Pragmatic, data-driven, and confident influencing leadership
* Low ego, hands-on, and comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
