Job Title: Contract Workday Developer Location: London / Hybrid (2 days onsite per week) Rate: Up to £500 per day (Outside IR35) Contract Length: 6 months (with strong potential to extend) Start Date: ASAP We’re partnering with a global consultancy to deliver a high-impact Workday transformation programme for a prestigious client in the City, and looking for an experienced Workday Developer to join the project team on a long-term contract basis. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Core Connectors, Studio, and EIB Customise Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and dashboards Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather technical requirements Provide technical support for Workday modules, particularly HCM, Absence, Compensation, and Talent Troubleshoot and resolve integration and configuration issues Participate in testing, deployment, and change control activities Document technical designs and conduct peer reviews Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years’ hands-on Workday development experience Proven experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST) Strong knowledge of Workday data structures and security Experience delivering within an Agile or hybrid project environment Solid grasp of XML, XSLT, and Workday Report Writer Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently and remotely Prior experience in client-facing roles, ideally within a consultancy Desirable: Workday certifications in Core HCM, Integrations or Studio Exposure to Prism, Extend or Adaptive Planning Experience working on global deployments or multi-country rollouts
