Site Manager – Heavy Civils (Water & MEICA Experience Preferred) Location: Merseyside Employment Type: Permanent or Freelance Salary: Competitive, based on experience + benefits package About the Role We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of major civil engineering works in the Merseyside region. This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in heavy civils, experience in the water sector, and a solid understanding of MEICA interfaces. If you've got hands-on experience with shaft sinking, this is very much your lane. You’ll be managing complex site activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring safety, programme, and quality standards are met to the highest level. Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for managing site operations on heavy civil engineering works. Oversee and manage shaft sinking operations, ensuring safety and technical precision. Coordinate with MEICA teams and subcontractors on water-related projects including treatment works, pipelines, and pumping stations. Ensure all work complies with company standards, project specifications, and relevant water framework protocols.
