Head of Recruitment - 12 month fixed term contract

Please note this position is based in London and this will be the contractual location of the successful candidate, other locations cannot be considered.

A bit about the job:

Together with your team you will collaborate with Heads of People and leaders across the business to understand their recruitment needs for now and the future. You’ll shape innovative solutions, whilst ensuring we deliver a recruitment service that is robust, timely and commercially effective.

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a strategic and commercially astute Head of Recruitment to lead a small recruitment team who deliver a best-in-class service. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the people senior leadership team, lead a highly capable team, whilst being accountable for Investments hiring across Public/Private business. This role will be pivotal in executing talent strategies that attract the best talent team that is seen as a valued advisor the business. You will partner closely with senior leadership to ensure our hiring approach aligns with long term business strategy, regulatory expectations, and our commitment to embed an inclusive culture where all colleagues’ contributions are encouraged.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

* Lead all hiring strategyacross Investments, aligning with business growth and executive succession plans.
* Act as a trusted advisorto our investment CIOs and senior leaders, ensuring a rigorous and inclusive assessment and selection processes.
* Oversee executive searchfor senior and regulated roles, managing confidential mandates and complex offer negotiations.
* Drive operational excellence, including recruitment budget ownership, compliance, and a standout candidate experience.
* Champion inclusive hiring, ensuring diverse shortlists and strong partnerships with HR, Finance, and business leadership.

Candidate Profile

* Proven experience and knowledge of Investment hiring within private or public markets, with the ability to provide solutions and influence at an executive level.
* Strong track record of delivering executive hires, influencing and providing constructive challenge to stakeholders to deliver the best outcome for the business.
* Deep understanding and capability of managing complex offer negotiation and compensation structures.
* Commercially minded, data-driven, and have a deep passionate for building long lasting relationships.
* Previous people leadership experience, lead by example and inspire your team to drive ideas and innovation.
* Exceptional communication skills, ability to influence and leadership skills.
