As a Senior Developer at Opus 2, you'll lead delivery of medium-to-large features and projects within your squad while influencing the broader engineering strategy. While you're a full stack developer. You'll partner with Product, Design, and your Engineering squad to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and user focused. You'll raise technical standards, coach engineers, and balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability and reliability.
What you'll be doing
* Own and deliver medium features or projects from design through to delivery.
* Partner with Product and Design to align project delivery with business and user needs.
* Contribute to the squad strategy by influencing best practices.
* Mentor developers, providing technical guidance and feedback.
* Drive quality (CI/CD, observability, test automation).
* Leverage AI to improve quality, delivery speed, and developer productivity across the SDLC.

* You consistently deliver stories that are technically sound, and meet user and business needs.
* You anticipate and address technical risks before they become blockers.
* You elevate engineering standards across your squad and influence other squads.
* You mentor engineers, strengthening technical depth and delivery capability.
Requirements
What we're looking for in you
* Expertise in distributed systems, multi-tenant SaaS, and API-first platforms.
* Languages: full stack experience with a focus on Typescript with familiarity with one of Java and Go a benefit.
* Infrastructure: familiarity with AWS serverless architecture and K8s.
* Frameworks: familiarity with React and Spring.
* Proven ability to contribute project delivery end-to-end.
* Mentoring and coaching skills.
* Familiarity with scaling systems and operational reliability.
* ~5+ years professional software engineering experience.
