A market leading and growing distributor and contract manufacturer serving the UK dental laboratory market is looking to appoint a field-based Territory Sales Executive to cover Scotland, with occasional trips to Ireland. With a heritage spanning decades and a product portfolio of over 155,000 SKUs, this is a business that prides itself on deep customer relationships, technical expertise and outstanding service - not box-shifting.
The Role
As Territory Sales Executive, you will manage and develop a portfolio of accounts across dental laboratories, hospitals and dental schools - ranging from single-operator labs to multi-site operations of up to 100 staff. Approximately 95% of activity is account management (building spend through these), with 5% focused on new business development.
You will be responsible for retaining and growing an established customer base of 200-300 accounts, identifying opportunities to increase product penetration across a catalogue that covers everything above the implant - from consumables and materials to capital equipment including scanners.
Candidate Requirements
* Field-based sales experience - any sector considered
* Background in dental technology, dental sales, or as a TCO or patient coordinator would be highly advantageous
* Commercially driven, hungry and resilient - able to manage a large patch independently
* Strong communicator with the ability to adapt your style across lab owners, managers, bench technicians and institutional buyers
* Comfortable covering a broad territory - candidate should ideally be based in Scotland
* Full UK driving licence
The Package
* £30,000-£40,000 basic salary
* £10,000 OTE - uncapped, paid monthly
* BMW 330E company car
* Laptop provided
* 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Christmas and New Year closure
