Pay Rate: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Food Technology to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver hands-on, engaging lessons and support students in developing essential life skills through food, nutrition, and practical cooking.
In this role of Teacher of Food Technology, you will:
* Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons across KS3–KS5 in Food Technology and Nutrition.
* Teach safe food handling, preparation, hygiene practices, and healthy eating principles.
* Support students in creating well-presented dishes while developing confidence in the kitchen.
* Encourage creativity, independence, and problem-solving through practical cooking tasks.
* Assess and track pupils’ progress, providing feedback to support continued development.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and organisation within the classroom and food preparation areas.
What You’ll Bring as a Teacher of Food Technology:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology, Nutrition, and practical culinary skills.
* Previous experience teaching Food Technology within a school setting.
* A creative and engaging approach to planning lessons that inspire students.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
