Cook Part Time 20 hours
Monday to Thursday - Ideally 9.30am - 14.30pm but there is some flexibility with these times.
Spark of Genius Ltd is a high-quality provider of specialist care in small therapeutic residential homes and education throughout Scotland for young people with a diverse range of social, emotional and mental health needs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced cook who will be required to work part time in a residential environment specifically for vulnerable young people at our residential house in Ormiston.
You will be required to plan menus with a well-balanced and nutritional diet, work to a budget, order/receive supplies and maintain high standards of hygiene by adhering to company policies & procedures including HACCP & COSHH.
You will also be required to show young people the kitchen skills required for day to day living. You should also have the ability to interact with young people aged between 5 and 16 years old. The successful candidate should ideally possess a food hygiene certificate.
