This role is a 'hands on' position involving interaction across the entire business department. It requires strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to coordinate projects and audit structures independently, often without direct guidance from the Director. The role includes administrative support but demands full involvement for the support to be effective.
More about the role:
* Experience in Quality / ATEX / Environmental Management and Health & Safety, including compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 80079:34, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
* Proficiency in conducting internal audits and managing external audits with suppliers.
* Serve as the primary contact for all external audits, including surveillance and recertification.
* Experience in chairing QMS meetings.
* Support the integration of new products into our QMS systems.
* Excellent inter-department communication skills and creative thinking.
* Experience managing non-conformances and their resolution.
About you:
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Publisher, and Excel.
* Highly organized with a willingness to introduce new ideas to improve the business.
* Ability to work independently once trained, demonstrating initiative.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Well-presented, with the ability to greet customers when necessary.
* A full clean driving license.
Training:
