Overview
NHS Highland is hiring a Cook. This is a part-time permanent role to support residents with nutritious meals and snacks, following a six-week menu plan and standard recipes, while ensuring quality standards and infection control practices.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals and snacks to residents as required, following a six-week menu plan and standard recipes, producing food in line with policies and procedures, ensuring standards are met.
* Maintain a clean kitchen environment and comply with infection prevention and control standards.
* Work as part of a team of kitchen staff and support a high-quality service to the community.
Qualifications/Experience
* Experience in working with people in a care setting and being prepared to undertake relevant training.
Employment Details
* Part-time permanent post of 22.08 hours per week, with shifts following a three-week rota: 9:00–16:45 and 9:00–15:00.
