Event Sales Executive
Location: Loughton, Essex (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE + Commission & Benefits
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you a dynamic and driven sales professional with a passion for events and exhibitions? We're looking for an Event Sales Executive to join our energetic and collaborative team based in Loughton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-profile exhibitions while growing your career in the events industry.

The Role

As an Event Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing stand bookings, meeting sales targets, and building strong relationships with both new and existing clients. You will contribute to the strategic growth of exhibitions, ensuring every show is a success from planning through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Management

*

Achieve personal and event-based monthly sales targets

*

Consistently hit call rate expectations set by your manager

*

Develop, manage and grow both new and existing client accounts

*

Secure new business and convert into long-term repeat customers

*

Maintain high standards in the quality of exhibitors onboarded

*

Gather client testimonials to support future sales

*

Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline planning with your manager

*

Represent the event brand professionally at relevant industry events and exhibitions

Admin & Organisation

*

Maintain up-to-date and accurate records across order books, floor plans, signed orders and sales boards

*

Ensure all sales activity is logged and reported correctly

Event Execution & Collaboration

*

Work closely with the event operations team to ensure smooth build-up, show days, and breakdown

*

Contribute creatively to the development of event features and show areas

*

Support other team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture

*

Be present at all relevant events you’re involved with, including occasional weekends

About You

*

Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within events, media, or exhibitions

*

Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills

*

Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organised

*

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with set targets

*

Passionate about the events industry and delivering exceptional experiences
