the lookout for a proactive, talented Part Time HR Manager to join our team.
THE ROLE
• Facilitate end-to-end recruitment processes
• Support with induction processes and coordinate probationary review processes
• Establish, develop and maintain excellent relationships with all managers and colleagues
• Act as a point of contact for employee enquiries, issues and concerns
• Support line managers and employees in employee relations processes
• Oversee HR monitoring and reporting, including sickness absence management, holidays etc
• Support Employee Relations cases.
• Assist with performance management/appraisal processes including KPI reviews
• Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs
• Contribute to the development, implementation and review of HR processes, policies and procedures in line with legislation and business need
• Contribute to drafting HR policies, ensuring that these and the Staff Handbook are kept up to date and in line with current legislation
• Advise line managers and other employees on employment legislation and the company’s policies and procedures, as appropriate
• Encourage wellbeing programs and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives
• Drive and develop employee engagement initiatives
• Pension and benefits review and administration
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
• Manage Staff records, ensuring that the company meets its GDPR responsibilities
• Ensure the Company meets the requirements of the Equality Commission
• Support the Senior Management Team in a range of administration duties
• Any other duties as required that are commensurate with the role
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
In order to be considered for the following role you should have the following knowledge
and experience;
• A minimum of three years’ recent, relevant experience in a commercial organisation, in a standalone generalist HR role at HR Advisor level or above
• Proven ability to use HR knowledge and experience to provide solutions to challenges/problems
• Experience of the full recruitment process, including utilising a range of approaches to identify and approach talent
• Proven experience of supporting employee relations, monitoring work performance, supporting staff reviews/appraisals and experience of carrying out formal performance procedures
• Proven track record of delivery in a busy environment
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Working knowledge of employee legislation and practice across the UK
• Up-to-date knowledge and experience of sound HR practices and procedures
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and sites desirable
