The role:
We are on the lookout for an experienced and credible Compensation & Benefits (C&B) expert. This is really exciting for us as it’s our first hire that will be based in London in the team with quite a broad remit, full of interesting challenges. You will be leading our EMEA C&B strategy & execution for our EMEA & Americas regions, reporting into our Global Head. We need someone who is very detail-oriented and keen to join a fast-moving Fintech leader.
What you will be doing:
1. Participating in strategic projects and initiatives.
2. Contributing to the design and improvement of C&B policies.
3. Co-designing and developing different schemes of short-term and long-term incentives.
4. Driving and coordinating C&B processes like the annual compensation review cycle, benefits introduction, and implementation.
5. Contributing to benefit design programs to maintain market competitiveness while aligning with the company culture and C&B philosophies.
6. Conducting analysis and recommending improvements to compensation and benefit practices to stakeholders to maintain competitiveness and enhance employee engagement in each country.
7. Partnering closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide advice and recommend solutions on compensation & benefits issues.
8. Participating in C&B surveys, conducting market benchmarking and trend analysis.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
1. Extensive experience in developing and managing regional/global Compensation programs and processes, preferably in a high-growth, scaling, technology environment.
2. Experience in the FinTech or Financial Services industry is a plus.
3. Robust understanding of market conditions across numerous countries and regions, especially in the EMEA & US markets.
4. Strong understanding of market best practices, trends, and benchmark data.
5. Language skills, particularly advantageous (Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, European languages where we have entities).
6. Ability to work independently.
