 
        
        Our client is seeking a Quality Manager for a long-term, full-time contract position, based in the Huddersfield region. This role is integral to a large rail infrastructure project, with hybrid work options available and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and overseeing quality assurance frameworks for the project
Defining operating protocols to ensure consistent quality execution
Running root cause analysis workshops to identify and solve quality issues
Managing non-conformance close-outs efficiently
Scheduling and conducting audits and site surveillance activities
Leading a team to ensure quality standards are met and maintained
Collaborating with other project stakeholders to uphold quality requirements
Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality and safety regulations
Job Requirements:
Experience in quality management, particularly within the rail or civil construction sectors
Strong skills in quality engineering and assurance
Previous experience leading a quality management team
Ability to develop and implement effective quality assurance frameworks
Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis and non-conformance management
Understanding of audit processes and site surveillance practices
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Experience with large infrastructure projects is preferred
