The Role
We are looking for a commercially driven and ambitious Sales Executive to join our growing team based in Ipswich. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their B2B sales career within a dynamic, fast-paced, and growth-oriented business.
You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of our UK operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing new business opportunities through proactive, targeted outreach
* Building and managing a pipeline of prospective customers
* Conducting and following up outbound sales activity to generate appointments and sales leads
* Understanding individual customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions
* Negotiating commercial terms and successfully closing sales
* Developing a strong understanding of the UK hospitality and wine industry
* Maintaining accurate customer records within the CRM system
* Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets and reporting performance to management
* Attending trade shows and industry events
* Collaborating closely with the UK Sales team to support wider commercial objectives
Skills Required
* Minimum two years’ experience in a B2B sales or business development role
* Proven experience in phone-based sales and lead generation
* Hospitality industry experience, with an interest in wine and luxury hospitality sectors
* WSET qualification (level 1 or above)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confident negotiating with decision-makers at multiple levels
* Self-motivated with a proactive and target-driven approach
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
* Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team
* Experience using CRM software
