About The Role
As a JavaScript Developer, you’ll become an integral part of our agile development team, working with the latest technology on ground-breaking projects to keep the business at the forefront of our industry. You’ll work on the development and maintenance of our industry-leading CAD-based planning system used by our Kitchen and Bedroom Designers to bring our customers' dreams to reality, as well as working on the architecture, planning, and design of other innovative internal systems used across our manufacturing, transport, installations, and customer service departments.
The technology you will be using includes:

Key responsibilities:
* Build and maintain Wren’s custom-built, cutting-edge application
* Write clean, understandable code
* Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
* Collaborate with senior developers, business stakeholders, and the wider development team to understand project scope

About You
Essential experience:
* At least 2 years’ experience developing and maintaining JavaScript applications
* Knowledge of TypeScript, React, NodeJS, HTML5, Less, and Canvas
* Experience using Version Control systems such as Git in a team environment
* Good understanding of maths and ability to develop complex algorithms
* Familiarity with Linux or Mac OS
Desirable experience:
* Understanding of JavaScript programming concepts including mixins, object composition, and scope
* Experience with automated testing
* Experience with utilities and build tools like Docker, Webpack, NPM, ESLint, and Karma
* Experience with software design patterns such as Flux, AOP, and modularity
* Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative design
* Experience working in a continuous integration environment
* Experience in retail and/or manufacturing environments
* Experience working with AWS and its features
