Senior FX Trading Java Developer – VP (Hybrid)

Role Overview/What will you do:
* Implement FX trading systems through hands-on technical development.
* Collaborate with FX Trading Technology teams to develop solutions that support business needs.
* Design and develop system architecture, work with end-users, and improve deliverables.
* Ensure compliance with Citi policies and maintain documentation.
* Contribute to best practices and process improvements across teams.
* Work directly with trading and quantitative teams.
Key Skills And Experience Required:
* Understanding of FX markets is highly preferred.
* Experience in ultra low-latency development practices.
* Proven track record of building, replacing, and renovating trading systems.
* Knowledge of systems (software, hardware, networks) for troubleshooting and solution definition.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with all levels of the organization.
* Ability to analyze codebases and provide constructive feedback.
* Awareness of industry trends and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Masters preferred) or equivalent experience.
