About the Role
We are seeking an Experienced Site Manager to oversee a specialist project involving roof replacement and asbestos removal. This is a crucial position requiring a proactive leader with a strong understanding of construction safety, coordination of subcontractors, and the ability to maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on-site activities for the roof replacement and asbestos removal works
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure smooth workflow
Ensure full compliance with H&S regulations and company procedures
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and site audits
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams
Oversee site logistics, quality control, and programme management
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must hold the following certifications:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
First Aid at Work
Asbestos Awareness Certificate
PASMA Ticket
Experience required:
Proven experience managing roof replacement projects
Prior involvement in asbestos-related works
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain site discipline
Solid understanding of CDM regulations and safety-critical environments
