We are currently seeking a Weekend Cook to join our team. Shifts are from 9.30/10am through to 6.15pm, with a minimum of 8 hours per week. This is a permanent post, with an immediate start and the potential of overtime during busier periods. You must be fully flexible.
Ideally you will have previous relevant experience, however full training will be provided. We are looking for a candidate who can prepare and cook food in a fast paced environment, and preferably has experience with the paperwork associated with food hygiene standards.
Level 2 Food Hygiene certification essential. You must be quick to learn, be able to give direction to staff assisting you and be adaptable to changing environments. Experience of working in a customer facing coffee bar setting would also prove useful, as would experience of till work involving cash and card payment handling.
You must be customer friendly, organised and have good time management skills. The ability to bake basic cakes such as brownies, flapjacks, cornflake tarts etc. is also desirable.
