Overview
WPS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join our planned works team in Bloxwich, working on a planned social housing programme with one of our long-standing housing partners.
This is a key site-based role where you will take full responsibility for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of planned works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to agreed standards.
Responsibilities
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, leading operatives and subcontractors while maintaining excellent relationships with residents, clients and internal teams.
* Managing planned works programmes from start to completion
* Ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly and to programme
* Day-to-day leadership of site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
* Maintaining high standards of quality control and customer care
* Monitoring progress against programme and reporting on performance
* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, company policies and housing partner requirements
* Completing site reports, progress updates and handover documentation
What We're Looking For (Essential)
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on planned social housing works
* SSSTS qualification (minimum requirement)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
* Excellent communication and people-management skills
* Ability to manage multiple trades and programmes effectively
