The Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Project & HR Support Administrator to join our team. This varied role combines office administration, project support, and HR assistance. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys multi-tasking, wants to learn about construction projects, and is keen to build new skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Administration & Compliance
* Set up new jobs and maintain accurate project files.
* Prepare site packs, booking-in letters, and compliance documents.
* Support managers with subcontractor and supplier paperwork.
* Monitor equipment hire, deliveries, and asset registers.
* Assist with handover packs, warranties, and audit preparation.
* Track and organise training requirements for staff.
* Manage accreditation renewals (CHAS, Constructionline, etc.) and training matrix updates.
HR & Staff Support
* Assist with recruitment administration and onboarding new starters.
* Maintain personnel files and training records.
* Process timesheets, holidays, and sickness records.
Office Administration
* Manage shared inboxes, calls, and customer enquiries.
* Draft and issue letters, forms, and company correspondence.
* Organise filing systems for both project and HR documents.
Financial Administration
* Raise purchase orders and sales invoices using Sage 50 (training provided).
* Support bookkeeping, supplier payments, and cost tracking.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as an Administrator, Project Administrator, Office Administrator, Construction Admin, or similar.
* Confident using Microsoft Office; knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is an advantage (training provided).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive team player who is eager to learn and progress.

Pay: £30,010.50-£30,751.50 per year
