Lead the Pack in Frontend Innovation – Senior Developer Wanted
Join Pets at Home and help us build exceptional digital experiences for pet lovers across the UK. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who’s passionate about performance, accessibility and clean, scalable code.
The role offers hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.
What You’ll Do:
* Build and optimise modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
* Lead frontend architecture and design within your squad
* Champion accessibility and performance best practices
* Write robust unit and end-to-end tests (Jest, Playwright/Cypress)
* Mentor developers and drive high-quality code through reviews
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features
What You Bring:
* Extensive frontend development experience
* Deep knowledge of React, Next.js, SSR/SSG and modern frontend architecture
* Strong testing skills and experience with Storybook and cloud platforms (Azure a plus)
* A passion for clean code, collaboration and continuous improvement
