Site Manager – Kier Group
Site Manager position at Kier Transportation, handling highways infrastructure projects for North and West Northamptonshire Councils.
Location and Hours
Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire – site based, 5 days per week.
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 plus £5,900 annual car allowance, private healthcare, benefits.
Responsibilities
* Ownership of works including footpath reconstruction, carriageway resurfacing, surface treatments, drainage improvements, traffic signals, and structure repairs.
* Create and champion a positive health and safety culture in line with Kier procedures.
* Ensure sites comply with Chapter 8 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
* Interpret documents, scheme drawings and costing information per NEC4 contract requirements.
* Ensure quality of work aligns with inspection and testing plans, scheme designs, and current specifications.
* Apply NEC4 change control procedures for early warnings and compensation events.
Qualifications
* HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
* Proven NEC contract management experience.
* NRSWA Supervisor certification.
* 12D Traffic Management and SMSTS qualifications.
* Full UK driving licence (essential for this site‑based role).
