About The Role
Working Days: Saturdays and Sundays, 12.30pm to 6.30pm

Your key responsibilities will include:
1. The preparation, cooking, presentation, and service of meals to the highest standards.
2. Providing food that complies with national nutritional policies and food hygiene standards.
3. Ensuring timely plating and delivery to patient areas.
4. Contributing to the implementation of service developments, such as new menus and production systems.
5. Submitting requisitions for additional food stores depending on demand.
The Ideal Candidate Should Meet The Following Criteria
1. Must have the right to work in the UK.
2. An enhanced DBS check will be completed for the successful candidate.
3. Qualified Cook to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 standard and Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate.
4. Knowledge and experience across a broad range of cooking methods, recipe formulation, and service requirements.
5. Knowledge and understanding of HACCP & COSHH, acquired over time with training.
6. Understanding of fire safety as applied in the kitchen setting.
7. Allergen qualification/training.
