Site Manager Job - Leicetser based site - £50k-£60k + Package

Your new roleAs a Site Manager, you will report to the Contracts Manager and take full responsibility for delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements
2. Liaising with client representatives, residents, and project stakeholders to maintain strong relationships
3. Planning works, including determining methods, phasing, and producing short-term programmes.
4. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company procedures
5. Monitoring site progress, coordinating labour, plant, and materials
6. Leading site teams, holding regular meetings, and supporting staff development
7. Managing resident expectations, resolving issues, and minimising disruption
8. Maintaining site administration systems and ensuring accurate reporting
9. Supporting quality delivery through systems such as LIMS
What you’ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need:
10. Proven experience in a Site Manager position, ideally within new build housing, traditional or timber frame
11. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices
12. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
13. Excellent communication and leadership skills
14. Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
15. Be within a 1-hour commute of Leicester
Essential qualifications:
16. CSCS Card (Black, White or Gold)
17. SMSTS
18. First Aid certification
19. Asbestos Awareness
Desirable skills:
20. Knowledge of temporary works procedures
21. Experience with Microsoft Office and project planning tools
22. Ability to identify variations and manage programme performance
