Queens Cross is a vibrant, Community Disability hub, co‑produced with people who have lived experience of Disability and who are living independently in their own homes throughout the borough. People are what makes Queens Cross great, and therefore, they are at the "front and centre" of everything that happens at our hub, working in partnership with us to continually improve the service.
Unit Catering Manager (Temporary)
32 Hours per week
Grade 5
Responsibilities
 * Help us to manage our existing onsite catering kitchen service
 * Work with attendees to develop future meals offerings that reflect modern lifestyles of people who use the service
 * Provide person‑led support to people with physical/sensory and learning disabilities or other long‑term health conditions in the building‑based service, so that they may partake of a mid‑day meal and also support the school meals provision service for a local special school
 * Meet all aspects of the dietary needs of people who use and help to co‑produce the service
 * Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including managing other catering staff, to provide a quality meal service for vulnerable adults
Qualifications
 * Experience managing catering kitchen operations
 * Ability to work effectively with people with physical/sensory and learning disabilities or other long‑term health conditions
 * Good understanding of dietary requirements for vulnerable adults
