About the Company
Amazing opportunity for a Junior Engineer or Graduate with a 0–1-year experience, to work with one of Norther Ireland’s well-established Tier 2 Main Contractors.
This role is suitable for ambitious engineers or graduates who want to pursue a career in site management with a busy main contractor.
This project is just starting with minimum of 3 years’ work there- great for someone who wants to gain experience with all construction stages.
The Role
* Report to and support the Site Manager and Senior Engineer
* Use total station to set out when required (training provided)
* Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
* Liaise with design team and architects to report any issues or help the flow of information.
* Oversee and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
* Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and report any issues to senior management in a prompt and timely manner.
* Order materials as required.
* Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
Requirements
* A recent Degree in Construction Management & Engineering.
* Ideally will have completed a placement or 1 year with a Main Contractor.
* Willingness to learn and work to get the project completed to a high standard.
* Ambitious – keen to run your work projects in the near future.
