Salary: £80,000 - 88,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect with a proven background in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms. We need strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Delta Lake, and data warehousing. We require advanced data modelling and ETL/ELT optimisation experience. We are looking for someone familiar with regulatory frameworks such as IFRS 17, BCBS 239, and UK Data Protection. We need excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience in a regulated industry such as insurance, financial services, or healthcare is desirable. Relevant Microsoft and Databricks certifications are desirable, including Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, and Databricks Data Engineer or Machine Learning Associate. Responsibilities: We design and implement scalable, secure cloud-based data architecture using Azure and Databricks. We develop optimised data models and pipelines using Delta Lake and Azure services. We define data standards, policies, and governance practices aligned with compliance requirements. We enable real-time analytics and machine learning use cases across business functions. We ensure data integration across structured and unstructured sources with high availability. We lead innovation and adopt best practices in data engineering and architecture. We collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
