About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join a busy secondary school in Tower Hamlets on a fixed-term, full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the school’s HR function, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and employment regulations. This role requires an immediate start and prior experience working in a school HR administration role is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across the school.

Maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring all compliance requirements are met.

Support recruitment processes, including placing adverts, arranging interviews, and preparing offer letters.
*
Manage pre-employment checks including DBS, right to work, and reference checks.
*
Assist with staff onboarding and induction.
*
Draft and issue HR correspondence and contracts.
*
Respond to staff HR queries professionally and confidentially.
Requirements:

Previous HR administration experience in a school setting (essential).
*
Strong understanding of safeguarding and safer recruitment practices.
*
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
*
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
