Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing, leading, and achieving sales goals for the sales floor at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliates. Manages daily store operations, leads the team, and drives business success. Key duties include building, leading, and retaining motivated, high-performing teams through effective leadership of Retail Sales Associates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Execute retail operations plans to meet profit, revenue, and productivity goals daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
2. Make decisions related to daily retail operations within assigned areas.
3. Conduct inventory of new goods and ensure proper reporting.
4. Reconcile and balance daily paperwork.
5. Ensure excellent customer service to donors and customers.
6. De-escalate customer issues and involve management when necessary.
7. Maintain daily store operations, including managing team and customer needs.
8. Keep store clean, well-maintained, and aligned with Goodwill branding.
9. Be flexible to transfer to different stores as needed.
10. Oversee daily sales floor operations, including maintenance and standards.
11. Mentor and train Retail Sales Associates to develop their skills.
12. Ensure compliance with security, health, and safety policies, coordinating with divisions as needed.
13. Perform additional tasks such as bank deposits, assisting at other stores, and attending training sessions.
14. Handle complex sales transactions, including returns.
15. Collaborate with leadership to establish vision and engage team members.
16. Manage performance through coaching, discipline, and reviews; oversee staffing, compensation, and development.
17. Support company culture change initiatives and change management.

19. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
* Preferred: One year of retail management experience
* Required: One year of customer service experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to pass background check and drug screening
* Proficient in reading and speaking English
