Quality Manager An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Quality Manager to join a heavy manufacturing business, based at a key site in the Northwest. This role focuses on managing inspection teams and ensuring compliance with quality standards, delivering excellence across a wide range of engineering projects.
This position would suit an experienced quality professional with a strong technical background in welding, engineering, or inspection. Ideal for someone holding ISO 9001 auditing qualifications and keen to lead continuous improvement in a busy manufacturing environment, it offers the chance to influence high-profile projects across multiple sectors.
Lead and manage QA and QC inspection personnel in alignment with Group quality standards
Compile and manage quality documentation in accordance with client specifications and codes
Conduct external audits on subcontractors and write inspection testing procedures for projects
Liaise with client representatives and perform on-site quality inspections as needed
Proven experience as Quality Manager
Experience within Manufacturing with knowledge of Welding processes
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Full Time –Monday – Friday (early finish Fri)
