What are we looking for?
We are seeking a values-led leader with experience in youth work, education, community development, social justice, or relevant fields that may or may not be directly relate, but that has allowed for the development of transdisciplinary, cross-sectoral knowledge and skills.
We are keen to work with a passionate individual who:
* is organised, reliable and comfortable coordinating across multiple work streams
* has strong written and verbal communication skills
* Is confident working collaboratively in a values-led organisation
* has cultural awareness and sensitivity to South African contexts
* has 5+ years professional experience in a relevant field/sector
* has strong communication and relationship-building skills
* has experience supporting programmes, partnerships or delivery
* is interested in wellbeing-informed and reflective leadership
* has experience working with schools, young people, educators or community organisations either through professional roles or in a voluntary capacity
You do not need prior experience with Design for Change, but you should be open to learning and working within an established global methodology. You also do not need to have a background in Education or the Community Sector, yet should have experience with young people, prior voluntary experience in any field and must have a commitment to connect with and collaborate with underserved communities.

We are seeking an Outreach and Growth Assistant – South Africa to support country-specific delivery, coordination and growth activity. This is a delivery-led assistant role, working closely with the DFC South Africa Country Partner, Programme Director and Managers (Marketing & Sales, Partnerships & Growth, Fundraising, Digital Learning).
The role focuses on execution, coordination and follow-through, helping ensure plans translate into action while safeguarding, wellbeing and ethical standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Supporting delivery, growth and coordination of South Africa–focused programmes and partnerships
* Assisting with outreach to schools, partners and community organisations
* Supporting ethical marketing and communications activity aligned to approved strategies that increase programme visibility
* Assisting with fundraising and sponsorship activity through research, coordination and follow-up
* Supporting collection of programme stories, learning and evidence (with consent)
* Supporting coordination of virtual sessions, exchanges and online engagement
* Helping track basic programme-related information (timelines, activity, simple records)
* Supporting volunteer engagement and coordination under guidance

This role supports coordination and delivery. While it does not hold responsibility for strategy, compliance, safeguarding decisions or system ownership, the Assistant will work closely with the Senior Leadership team, allowing them to develop practical experience in ethical programme delivery, partnership working and wellbeing-informed leadership within an international context.
