About the Role At Dexory, autonomous robots are a critical part of our product offering. We design and build our robots in house and are building new purpose built spaces for assembly, testing and product demos. The role will be based in our facility in Wallingford. The Quality Engineer is responsible for the overall mechanical product quality assurance & quality inspection functions within our fast growing business. You will be required to create, implement, maintain & operate the mechanical quality assurance aspects within the business. Responsibilities: Manage the Quality Team; looking after 121s, performance reviews and progression Create, implement & maintain suitable quality documentation, processes & systems to support the mechanical QC requirements of company production activity Proactively drive quality assurance functions & continual improvements within our fast growing business Collaborate with the mechanical design and assembly teams, to obtain important input into quality procedures, Inspection processes & supporting documentation Liaise with suppliers to ensure high quality of parts/goods is met Be responsible for auditing processes within the Quality department QA - Daily inspection Carry out dimensional and cosmetic inspection duties on mechanical parts and assemblies (Goods inwards - first off - Interim and final inspections stages) Ensure all materials & products are manufactured inline with design and engineering data Support the mechanical build team in highlighting quality concerns, ensuring robust containment, corrective action and closure of all findings Ensure non-conforming and conforming products are controlled and clearly identified within the production facility
