Freelance Site Manager – High-Rise RC Frame Project (Bristol)

💰 Day Rate: Competitive (DOE)
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join the delivery team on a large 20+ storey high-rise RC frame residential project in Bristol city centre. This is a long-term freelance role (2 years) offering the opportunity to work on one of the city’s landmark developments.
The Role:
You will take responsibility for managing groundworks, RC frame, and structural packages, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role would suit someone with a strong background in RC frame construction, ideally having worked for a reinforced concrete subcontractor or on major high-rise builds.
Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day site management of groundworks and RC frame packages
*
Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme delivery
*
Maintaining health & safety standards and site compliance
*
Liaising with project and structural teams to overcome technical challenges
*
Reporting progress and managing documentation efficiently
Requirements:
*
Proven experience on high-rise RC frame projects (20+ storeys preferred)
*
Strong background in groundworks and structural works
*
Previous employment with an RC frame subcontractor highly desirable
*
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential
*
Strong leadership and organisational skills
*
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a city-centre, logistically challenging environment
