What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading the design, ownership, and evolution of enterprise-level data architecture
* Developing and delivering a clear, structured data migration strategy across secure environments
* Mapping and analysing data flows, ensuring visibility across structured and unstructured data
* Defining how data is stored, accessed, and managed across multiple systems
* Establishing architectural standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
* Collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and supportable
* Providing hands-on leadership and direction to Data Engineers and Analysts
* Driving the roadmap for data architecture, balancing long-term strategy with delivery needs
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong background in data architecture within complex or large-scale programmes
* Experience owning and evolving architectural frameworks, roadmaps, and governance models
* Deep understanding of data governance principles (lineage, metadata, quality, lifecycle)
* Proven leadership capability, with experience guiding multidisciplinary technical teams
* Ability to operate in secure or constrained environments with a security-first mindset
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience translating strategy into practical, deliverable solutions
